Active seniors (55+) of our community are encouraged to join this Senior Orthodox Christian Organization, which it is sponsored by The “Agia Anna” Philoptochos. The first monthly social fellowship gathering will be held on Tuesday, September 26, from 11 am - 2 pm, in the Church Hall. All activities and lunch offered to the seniors is at NO EXPENSE. Annual Golf Tournament
Mark your calendar for the 20th Annual Golf Tournament, scheduled for Monday, September 25, 2017 at Glenn Dale Golf Club, 11501 Old Prospect Hill Road, Glenn Dale, Maryland. A Community Pilgrimage to the National St. Nicholas Shrine of the Greek Orthodox Church of America has been scheduled for Saturday, September 30, 2017. The bus(es) will leave the Church parking lot at 6:30 am and travel to New York City. There we will visit the St. Nicholas Shrine and Ground Zero. In the late afternoon, we will leave New York’s Ground Zero and return to Annapolis. For seat reservations, please contact the Church Office at 410-573-2072 or email email@example.com. Transportation fee per person will be $40. Lunch, dinner, and entrance to the museum at Ground Zero are not included.
Greek Taverna Night
Join us for mezes, pastries, cash bar and auction items on a night featuring Basile the Comedian and Adonis Band with Bouzouki Player. The event takes place at the Byzantium at the church. Children’s AGAPE Foundation Tea
The Children’s AGAPE Foundation Tea will be held on Sunday, October 22, 2017, from 2 pm - 4 pm, at Saints Peter and Paul Church, 920 W. 7th Street, Frederick, MD 21701. The main speaker will be Ed Hinde, Co-founder and Executive Director of Student Homeless Initiative Partnership of Frederick, www.shipfrederick.com. Admission is free. General Assembly Meeting
A General Assembly Meeting has been scheduled for Sunday, October 22, 2017 immediately following the Divine Liturgy in the Church Hall. It is requested that each of you plan to attend this important meeting. In order to participate in the Parish General Assembly, parishioners must have met their financial obligations to the Parish for 2016 and be current for 2017.
